Violet is a spunky young lady who loves to run and play. She has a lot of energy so we require a home for her with a minimum 5' fenced in yard so she can get rid of her energy on daily basis. Violet is house and crate trained, is good in the car and has decent leash manners. Violet has not had much socialization at a young age and will need to learn manners and what the world is all about outside the house. Going to training with her is a must although she knows her basic commands. Violet loves other dogs and is very playful but is lacking manners on how to introduce herself to other dogs or how to nicely and respectfully play with each other. She comes across as bossy and over-excited. Slow introductions to other dogs are a must. Violet has been introduced briefly to the cats but will need more introductions. She seems a bit too interested in them. Violet is doing very well with people and children of all ages. Violet is an energetic love bug who is unsure about herself and therefore usually velcro'd to your hip. She is fearful of new things and will need an adopter who can dedicate time to socialize and train her well. She is very open minded and responsive to training. We are looking for an experienced adopter for this beautiful and funloving young girl who can understand her fears and reactions.
